The English-Speaking Union (ESU) invites you and your students to join the below programmes this year, which are supported by SCOLAR and funded by the Language Fund.

Programme A: Reader’s Theatre

The popular fun- filled Reader’s Theatre Programme! Students will read different characters in a play story, learn good English conversations, vocabularies, gain confidence along the way and act as a team player. Recommended for S1 - S5 students, the ESU is offering a choice of four exciting stories:

This is the fifth year we are running the Reader’s Theatre Programme and pleased to receive overwhelming response each year. The programme will consist of two sessions of two hours during weekdays at your school premises. Tutors are well experienced and dedicated educationists. It is curated by ESU and supported by SCOLAR.  Each participating student will receive an original copy of the book after the programme is successfully completed.

Programme B : Impromptu Speaking: give a short speech with little or no preparation

The English -Speaking Union is offering this programme to S2-S5 students who would like to advance their public-speaking skills. They will learn how to think quickly, organise ideas clearly and speak fluently. A choice of two versions of speaking topics will be provided to suit different expectations.
